This ride was done a few days after a rain so much of the desert may have been suspect. As a result we stuck mostly
to the sand packed washes which were dry and firm. This due to the fact that not enough rain had fallen to need to
use these as flow ways. Ride would have been lower intermediate in most cases, such as entering the washes where we did.
However there would have been no trouble following away from the bank, and waiting for easier entries. The same might be said for the treed areas we passed through. All in all a suitable ride for mixed abilities ( from upper novice up). Ride was somewhere between 9 to 15 miles ( map is largely approximated ) the way we went and would be a good 2 hour ride.
Both time and distance easily adjusted to suit the group.
