from Gordon: Well I guess I will
start this off by thankingsome of the people that really made a difference
this year. Howard and Sharon Steiger, who ( as always) not only allowed
their place to be a staging area but went a step further to also make it a
very pleasant social event. As well Debbie Sanders who pre rode and tested
each trail, Debby-lee Johnson and Saddlewest for their great contributions
and help, Cathy Cheney who did a great job on Santa's Trail, and the other
volunteers ( Jim and Mary Hannah, Doug Shaw, Gay Sartore, and Utah ( who listened
to me most of the time)).
Although the first two weekends were somewhat marred by the weather the last
weekend had a great event and I would like to thank the people that turned
out to join us. We made some new acquaintances and saw some familiar faces
as well. Kudos to them for braving the the unpredictable weather.
